<p>Create a huge, functional website — that has several very different functions. SolarTown is a site for customers interested in buying solar equipment, for hobbyists interested in discussing it, for suppliers interested in selling it, and for anyone interested in learning more.</p>
<h3>The Work</h3>
<p>We built a fully customized CMS, which allows dozens of suppliers to interact with the system — without exposing information to the wrong parties.</p>
<h3>The Result</h3>
<p>A site that does the right thing, from every angle: visitors get information, customers get the products they want, and suppliers get access to a large and receptive market.</p>
<h3>What&#8217;s Cool</h3>
<p>It&#8217;s a great site for good old-fashioned exploring! It&#8217;s a nice resource for people dipping into the solar marketing, but it also gives thorough specs and ordering information for anyone ready to make a purchase.</p>

<h2>Website Launch: Solartown (coming soon!)</h2>

<p><strong>The Challenge</strong>: Build a site allowing multiple vendors to process orders for thousands of products &#8212; and do it all in under two months.</p>
<p><strong>The Work</strong>: A fully revamped, highly customized CMS with inventory management, purchase tracking, ad integration, and more &#8212; along with a complete suite of social networking features, including blogging, discussion, and video.</p>
<p><strong>The Result</strong>: Launching later this week, Solartown is the hub for discussing and buying ecologically friendly products. The site has full-fledged social networking features, and a robust back-end which includes customized drop shipping for multiple vendors.</p>
<p><strong>What&#8217;s Cool</strong>: Nobody can come close to what SolarTown has now, and their design gives them plenty of room to expand &#8212; adding new products, new vendors, or even entirely new categories is a snap, and their social media system can support as many new users as necessary.</p>

New York</a> continues to see record traffic and sales on their website thanks to the <a href="http://www.bluefountainmedia.com/searchengineoptimization.php">search engine optimization</a> <a href="http://www.bluefountainmedia.com/casestudies_detail.php?id=5" target="_blank">performed by Blue Fountain Media</a> between April and September 2008.  Our client was even mentioned in the NY Daily News thanks to our work.</p>

But thanks to a new redesign by Blue Fountain Media, coupled with a quick PR blast, has helped turn things around.</p>

<p><strong>The Work</strong>: Development in ASP/.NET, in addition to flash for the homepage. A new logo, a redesigned site architecture, and the beginning of a media campaign.</p>
<p><strong>The Result</strong>: The website places Recovery Point as a leader in the disaster recovery industry and truly shows off their amazing facilities.</p>
<p><strong>What&#8217;s Cool</strong>: We didn&#8217;t stop with a site redesign, either. Our next move was to issue a <a href="http://www.prweb.com/releases/recovery-point/data-recovery/prweb2361154.htm">press release</a> touting some of their new products. The result? They started getting calls about their new offerings the next day.</p>
