Objectives

News Broadcast Network required a powerful video & audio streaming website to handle thousands of daily visitors. NBN required full control over the website’s functionality, including uploading various media formats, and having the ability to create new channels and landing pages.

Methodology

Blue Fountain Media´s team of web designers, programmers and marketing professionals used open source PHP 5.0 technology with a MySQL database on a dedicated server to create an optimized website.

The customized CMS (Content Management System) was created within a two month timeframe and provided NBN with all required front-end and back-end functionality including ability to upload media and text iles through an easy-to- use interface. Videos are encoded in Flash then streamed from the website using a custom-made video player. Visitors are given Web 2.0 features to easily share and save site content.

In addition, the CMS provides full reporting capabilities able to be exported into various graphical charts. This includes the tracking of shared videos. The site is built on a flexible platform allowing for future functionality growth and handling of more visitors.

Results

Blue Fountain Media created NewsInfusion.com for the News Broadcast Network in a two-month timeframe to distribute video & audio news, complete with social media integration and a multi-level membership feature for users to save and download media files.

The NBN website has set a new benchmark within the video syndication industry. Content is delivered on a daily basis and on time as made possible through a user-friendly CMS.

News Broadcast Network´s website ranks high on search engines for published media files. The site requires little to no maintenance and its ease of use allows it to be easily updated by the NBN staff of content producers.
