What is Embedding?
Refers to a piece of content that is hosted in one place, but also displayed in another through the use of an iFrame, object tag, or other method. Embedding is a simple way to share and display content across the web. Embedding ensures that the original content is not modified and often gives credit or a link back to the source.
Example of an Embedded Youtube Video
For example, an embedded YouTube video is hosted on YouTube’s servers and accessible at a unique and permanent URL, but a website can allow visitors to view and play that video directly on a page using YouTube’s embed code.
To embedded a Youtube video onto your site is easy. For example, lets say we want to embedded the above video (http://youtu.be/zLQFkztsozw).
Click on the link and scroll down until you see the “Share” button. Click on the “Share” button.
After clicking on the “Share” button find and click on the “Embed” button.
Now you should see the HTML code displayed like below. As you can see there are several options to choose from.
