What are WYSIWYG Editors
WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editors are interfaces which allow users to view something resembling the end product while the document is created. The user has the ability to change the layout of the document without having to remember or type the commands.
Benefits of WYSIWYG Editors
The biggest advantage of using a WYSIWYG editor is that users do not need to have knowledge of HTML. Many editors have features that allow users to do the following:
- Change font types, sizes, and colors
- Change formatting (bold, italic, underlining, alignment)
- Insert images, demos, and videos
